In an otherwise uninteresting article on CNN.com:
Knowles, a senior at Bonney Lake High School who turns 18 next month, has been campaigning for Obama. She attended his rally at Seattle’s KeyArena on February 8. Her mother, Pam, told The News Tribune of Tacoma that Casey cried and trembled after shaking the candidate’s hand.
I’m not sure how I feel about presidental candidates inducing spontaneous weeping/trembling from teenage girls. Isn’t that Justin Timberlake’s job? Or whoever has replaced him, I assume he’s old news by now.
I’ve never understood this about teenage girls. I’m ashamed of humanity every time I see old footage of the Beatles. Have some dignity.
By the way, I use blockquotes now. This started yesterday. We’ll see if it sticks.
Incidentally, since I’m getting a bunch of hits off the CNN site via trackback ping, I feel compelled to explain that the “hysterical” is related to definitions 1 though 5 and not definition 6.
Addendum
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – I think this guy is funny. I don’t care what you say.
Addendum 2
There are a handful of new pictures, some from this weekend, two re-edited from Thanksgiving weekend in Patapsco.
Addendum 3
My favorite song
My favorite song
Reminds me of the first time I went to space
It was such a long journey
It took hours, days, years
But when it was over…
Oh, it takes me back
That takes me back to the first time
I stepped into space……
You were there!
You were there with all my best friends!
Well, at least they’re… the Beatles, and not, say, a middle-of-the-road dime-a-dozen politician. I mean, he’s not even attractive out of very specific context.
