Stacey sent me a text last night asking about the impending weather. I’m a little numb to it now, and it’s not looking like the blockbuster events of the previous few months, so I haven’t really been following. I can tell you that we’re looking at three-ish systems over the next 2-ish weeks. The first one looks like it will be infiltrated with rain for us. The second won’t be a big deal, the third might be bigger. The first is the Monday time frame. I’ll try to look up more on it later.

I’d like to know about any storms too. My mother-in-law is planning a visit this week and she needs to make a decision to either come and risk getting trapped here with bad weather or cancel for the second time due to snow storms. Sigh. Is it spring yet?
I have also heard that Farmers Almanac says that we are getting some snow storms in March also.. I will be looking forward to your forcasts.
Stacey,
How’d the Farmer’s Almanac do for the winter so far? Record breaking snows? How was February? (I don’t know the answer to this). It has been average or below average for the Northeast, way above average for Southern PA and NJ and all points south.
Genelle,
I know you’re right PA, where again? The storm later in the week shouldn’t be a big deal for us down here, but northern PA might have something to watch out for.
Sorry, it’s taken me a bit to reply. It’s been a busy few days around here. Josh’s family is from VA (it’s my MIL who is coming) and my family is from Western PA, just a bit south and east of Erie. Thanks for looking into this Eric! I appreciate you sharing your knowledge and time!
From what I hear Farmer’s Almanac has been pretty accurate for the winter in this area. But I haven’t read it myself so I really don’t know.
